Class Assignments

Today we discussed the last chapters of St. Augustine The Farmer's Boy of Tagaste.  Everyone needs to have the next book: Saint Patrick The Missionary to Ireland in class by Friday Oct. 21.  We got the first set of vocabulary words today from the first part of the book.  Read each suggestion on the Book Report sheet before choosing one to complete.  This is due a week from today, but if you wait until Monday of next week to try to complete it you will be sorry.  You have a great deal which is due Tuesday already.  You need to be working every day on all this work that you have put off until now to complete. Remember that I want all the copies of your writing papers turned in: the page that I write on as well as your final draft.  You may staple these together.  Put the latest draft on top, please.

The assignments are:

Wednesday 19 October 2011
1. Write the final copies to: "How To Make Chocolate"
                                       Position paper on "Salvation"  (see History book pg,57)
                                       "The Apostle's Creed vs. The Nicene Creed"
2. Vocabulary work: Write the definition and a sentene with each word you copied off the board.
3.Book Report on Augustine. Choose one to complete from the sheet I passed out in class.  Due 
                Tuesday 10/25/11.

Thursday 20 October 2011
1.  Read "The Beginnings of Hinduism".  Be prepared to discuss it on Friday.
2. Bring St. Patrick to class Friday.
