Today in class we learned about the legend of St. George and the dragon. Thanks to Payton and Noah for their presentation of this legend. Especially since it was not planned by them. Boys, thank you for being wiilling to read and perform in front of the class on such short notice! You were great! Also, thanks to Luke for reading us the serious stats about St. George!

1. Write a play or a poem about St. George and the dragon. Your poem may be serious, funny, true or make-believe! Your play must have at least 3 characters, setting, and plot: beginning, middle and end.
2. Order the next book: Augustine The Farmer's Boy of Tagaste. Bring it to class on Tuesday.

On the far left of your paper on the very top line, next to the red line write:

Pre-Algebra the subject/class
6 September 2011 the date, written as seen here
This should be done for every class, not just Literature. This will get you in the habit so when you get to High School, you won't have to think about it!
