I loved all the plays today!  I loved that you used humor in a lot of them!  And the poems were great!  your imaginations and creativity are awesome!!!  Praise God!
Each one of you has the book St. Augustine The Farmer's Boy of Tagaste.  I think you will all find it a very interesting read.  Augustine was quite a character!  He wasn't always saintly! As you read, underline your vocabulary words so you will know where they are in the text.
We studied the two creeds that have been introduced in our lessons: "The Apostle's Creed" and "The Nicene Creed".  We talked about their similarities and differences.
Your assignments are:

1. Read "Introduction"-page 50 in the book: St. Augustine.
2. Answer the discussion questions on the sheet.  Remember to use COMPLETE sentences.
3. Do Vocabulary work. Follow directions on the little sheet.  Use another sheet of paper.
4. Read "The Byzantine Empire"
5. Read the excerpt on "India".

1. Write a Compare/Contrast paper on the similarities and differences between "The Apostle's Creed" and "The Nicene Creed".  Use the notes we took in class and whatever you remember on our discussion in class.
2. Read "The Maya" handout.  Complete the back: pg. 85.

Bring to class on Friday all the handouts you had to read, please.
